An Oklahoma lawyer and two of his business associates have been charged with stealing more than $20 million from the trust funds of three Memphis funeral homes. In New York, a disbarred lawyer has been arrested and charged with using his dead father’s Social Security number to obtain a fraudulent mortgage. He was jailed on a $500,000 bond, has a history of mortgage fraud, the district attorney sid in a statement. (more…)

The sad reality of reverse mortgages if that certain people who have been conned by a shady reverse mortgage broker find that their first reverse mortgage paycheck is not as much as what they anticipated.
